Welterweight supremacy is on the line on Saturday night in Arlington, Texas, when unified champion Errol Spence Jr. takes on Danny Garcia in the main event of a Fox PPV. It will be Spence’s (26-0, 21 KOs) first fight since the horrific car crash in October 2019 when he managed to escape largely unscathed.
For Garcia, it’s an opportunity at the top of the division once again after losing a pair of tough decisions to Shawn Porter and Keith Thurman in previous shots at the 147-pound titles. «Swift» (36-2, 21 KOs) has notched a pair of wins over Ivan Redkach and Adrian Granados since losing to Porter in September 2018. It’s an important showdown in the division with lingering champions like Terence Crawford and Manny Pacquiao eager to unify all four titles.
