In their first game back after becoming the first NFL team to experience an in-season coronavirus outbreak, the Tennessee Titans look pretty damn good. The Titans forced a turnover on the Buffalo Bills’ first drive of the game and staked themselves to an early 7-0 lead. They later capitalized on a long punt return from Khalif Raymond to add a second touchdown of the first half. And they added an efficient two-minute drive from Ryan Tannehill and company that ended in another touchdown.
The defense has done well to largely keep breakout Bills quarterback Josh Allen in check, holding him to 10 of 21 passing for 124 yards, one touchdown (on a jet sweep touch-pass), and one interception. The Titans have also limited the Buffalo running game, holding the backs to 21 yards on 10 carries. The two short fields plus efficient passing from Tannehill (13 of 18 for 135 yards and one touchdown, plus another score on the ground) have the Titans in the lead at the half by a score of 21-10.
Which of these two AFC teams will stay undefeated and which will suffer its first loss of the season? Keep up with our live blog below.
